So I've got the Marriott around 12th and Market booked for New Years Eve, did that like 6 months ago but not sure what's going on that night, who's running what, etc. Found a few bars in Old City and Rittenhouse Sq that are doing package deals where you get into a few bars for one cover and it's open bar but I really don't feel like standing out in the cold going place to place plus the bars look kinda crappy. I can't find crap else on the intarweb.

Anyone know some hot spots doing open bar deals for New Years in Philly? Something within a short cab ride from Center City with an open bar until 2 and a decent DJ preferred.

Last year I did the olde city package deal, it was $75 for an open bar at Lucy's and a few other bars. It wasn't bad, we got there early so we snagged a spot at the bar and got fast service all night. I got hammered, we went to a second bar after midnight but I don't really remember it, hahah.

Not sure what I'm doing this year though.

That was the package I saw on the net....Lucy's and Drinker's. What was the music like at Lucy's?

Yea I think that's the same deal I did last year, the nye215 thing. To be honest I don't remember what the music was, but I know I had a good time. They were making the drinks with "good" alcohol if you asked for it, we were able to get shots too. I've been to Lucy's a few other times, its usually a pretty fun place.
