what are you talking about? It plainly says Infrared tranciving up to sight distance of 12 feet..

Personally I only buy RF wireless periperals, I cant stand the infared limitations but to each his own.

I looked around and found this one at www.directron.com for $29.99, it claims a range of 19 feet and has a built in mouse.

I'm looking for something so that I can dumb the keyboard and mouse off the desk so I can do some work, yet still use a mouse and keyboard if I need it from the bed or something.
