same thing happend when I try to add the item to cart.....I called, they didn't know what's going on, but said will work on it NOW.......

I also asked the guy I talk to if i can pick it up.....and he told me no store pick up cause they do make a little profit off the shipping, so I told him I am willing to pay more, and since I am going to guy a few, he said yes. WOOOOO, They ROCK.......going over tomorrow.

!!WARNING!!:
I had items in my shopping cart from yesterday and I decided to place my order today. I entered all the required information including my credit card# etc.
Next it takes you to the Finalize Purchase page. In the Payment Information area on that page was someone else information!!! His name, bank name, bank city/state, checking account#, bank routing#, bank transit code, and check#!!!!!!!!!
I tried calling but no answer. I emailed them and am waiting for a response.

Just go look on ebay for the card. It should be the same price and same shipping rate. Go figure. . .

got my cards today.....installing it right now.....it looks pretty good.....and also talked to one of the sells there....he said there was a problem with their website yesterday, fixed it....working now.........

Got my two cards today also.Total $34.90 shipped.Haven't installed it yet. Will report back here after I do.Both cards came with Manuals, software, and cable.Nice deal

I got my card yesterday. Not bad for $20 but certainly not the best available.

I think I'll get the Audigy instead. If anyone wants the Seismic Edge, mine is available for $18 shipped.

iliopsoas, what problem do you have with the card. The reviews seemed to be very good. Thanks in advance for the information.

Nothing wrong with the card. Actually it works quite well. But I've been a Soundblaster user since the original soundblaster card. And the Philips card doesn't have as robust drivers or support as I would like. I personally think their XP drivers are kinda weak. I wonder how it is for Win98, 2000.

Works Great!

heh... I was using the onboard on a k7s5a for dv capturing... BLEH!!!

Now, there are virtually NO POPS!

THANKS! This card is worth 3 times this much!

So far it's working fine in Windows XP.Sound is very good. The latest drivers are not signed but so far no problems.

After using this card for a few hours, I've noticed that it's destabilizing my system. Kept crashing due to the drivers. Damn pos.

IBM PC XT 4.77 Mhz
64Kb RAM
10 Mb MFM HDD
300 baud modem
13" CGA monitor

Well NO WONDER with that system you're trying to run it on.. you don't even have any PCI slots! 🙂

Got mine in yesterday...works great thusfar. Thanks for the hot deal🙂

BTW...Anyone know why when I do the speaker test and select either rear left or rear right...the sound comes out both instead of just one?I have Phillips 4.1 system set for 4 speakers....not a big deal, just wondering.

Probably a stupid question, but: Does anyone know how to get my Logitch keyboard volume control to work with this card? Also the volume control in the task bar does not adjust the volume. I have to go into the main volume controal and adjust the wave volume.

Paul

The volume control works fine for me on my Logitech keyboard. The master volume control also works in the Volume Control panel. Try reinstalling the logitech drivers and the SE drivers.

(Sigh) My old reliable SBLive Value! appears to have bit the dust (or at least, the bios
and windows on 3 computers don't see it...a conspiracy.) Just ordered this one as a replacement.
Audigy sounds nice, but is too pricey yet. This seems like a great deal.

Thanks!

>Isn't the Phillips Accoustic card for $15 shipped a better deal? I believe the thread is a few threads below this one.

They soak you for 10 shipping. But $5 more for each additional item.
