If spitting cable is illegal, spitting tel line is too, so you cannot use 2 or more phones with 1 tel number. :Q

SB Live - oh no! :Q I've been using this for 3 years, boring.

Actually, this isn't all that common. I live 20 minutes away from Just Deals.com, yet they would not allow me to drive up there to get my new mouse. They make their money on shipping, but in my case, I would have to send back the mouse and then they'd ship me a new mouse, ending up costing me $3.50 more than the initial cost.

First off,

I havent seen a better price on this card than the one here regardless of the shipping. Also this is the 6 channel new seismic edge not the old 4 channel. Second the Live card has too many problems with all sorts of chipsets but if yours currently works good then I wouldnt change to this. Also the audigy or extigy is currently the best sound card available that would be an "upgrade" from the live.

Yeah, but couldn't you just drop off the bum mouse instead of mailing it? They don't make money from return shipping, do they?

I ordered it from them on Friday (6/21) and I received a notice that it has been shipped with USPS delivery confirmation on Monday (6/24).

EDIT: I checked the confirmation number and it has arrived at my local post office. I should get it today or tomorrow.

IIRC the acoustic edge uses the cs4630 chip, and if this is the same card as that (w/o spdif), then it should work fine.

The acoustic edge and the seismic edge are identical cards minus the fact that the seismic edge lacks the spdif output that the acoustic has.

I bought Acoustic Edge for about $30 6 months ago (they were on clearance from BB and then used now defunct BVG). Great card. It works flawlessly with both XP Pro and Win 2K using the drivers from the link in the first post.

It came in a white box but it has the card, a manual, a quickstart guide, a driver disc, a CD audio cable, and a certificate of authenticity for the Yamaha XG software.

In case anyone is wondering if it's the older 4.1 model, the card is the PSC705 and it supports 5.1 sound.

Also, link to the Philips driver page.

Would it really be worth it to upgrade my sound to this seismic edge over my Asus A7V133 AC '97 Onboard Sound? Does it help at all in games, I mean in terms of FPS, if you have a better sound card. I would think that since the processor doesn't have to do sound, it would be easier?

Yeah . . . shipping KILLS this deal . . .

And if you look around the rest of the site, most of it is still "coming soon" or still being constructed . . . I'm not saying that it's a not legit, but it is definetely new.

I wouldn't say it kills this deal since it's still only $20 shipped. I think it'd be pretty hot even at $30 shipped.
These guys mainly deal through ebay and my order confirmation came from ebay@pcmicrostore.com. A lot of ebay vendors have a website to go along with their auctions.

Man, I don't understand you people. Half the internet companies you buy from are based at home. Hell, *I* seel computers out of my home locally. I'm a registered vendor for MA Labs, Ingram Micro and a couple others.

Got my card yesterday. It came with everything it should have, and installed in XP without a hitch.

I doubt there's anywhere else you'll find this card for this price, including shipping.

Thanks to Godsmack74 for the hot deal.

ordered mine on saturday evening.
got mine yesterday (wednes day) so it took 3 business days.
includes everything it should and looks to be perfect shape.

works fine on XP.. EXCEPT for some reason if i enable A3D on counter strike (i have mod for cs not retail).. it crashes the game as soon as i fire a gun. but wors fine when its disabled.

it works fine with other games and applications so far..

I am using the latest driver from their website btw...

all in all i say its pretty good for $20.. i was looking to buy audigy but its still @ $60..

good deal.
