Flyer was with newspaper today. Sale is 6/30-7/4/05. Haven't tried these, are they any
good? That's only about 27-cents each. These are $26.99 at amazon.com, and everyday $19.99 at CC and OD. I lean solely on Taiyo Yuden but this is a nice price.

There's only 3 reviews at CC on this item:

I saw this deal on tue and I was tempted, but, the last batch I bought of Phillips (2.4x) had a bunch of writing on them in black/grey/etc. I prefer the clean looking ones, but, for $7/25 it's a great deal. I couldn't tell what these looked like because there's a cover on the top.

CMC's with bitsetting are darn fine discs. I picked up a bunch of these a few months ago at CC when they were $7 then. Never tried the -r's though..

NO, CMC is at the other end of the spectrum.

(all tho, they might be halfway deceint dics, i wouldnt waste my money on them.)
Then again 7 bucks is pretty damn cheap.

I'll stick with TYs.

This is kind of how you should look at discs and their 'quality'
- top tier discs have a 95% chance of performing excellent. they also say that the longevity on these discs last quite long
- bottom tier dicsc have a 60% chance of performing excellent.

so there are people who have excellent burns with CMC's. good for you!
how is it people can test the longevity of a disc (they say like 10+ years w/ TY, less w/ CMC or something similar), when these discs haven't been around that long to verify)
one person's excellent burn might be someone else's very good or okay burn. it just depends up to you and your environment settings that allow your optimum burning atmosphere
