WTF??

only 5 other people ever shot a 59, some names that I remember: david duval, annika sorenstam. Tiger is not even on the list

If he made that last put he would've been the only person that ever shot a 58

DINGO!

heheheh callaway reps must be drooling right now..

lots of hoopla involved when phil made that equipment change from titleist to callaway

he has always been this good. when he's on he's better than anyone i've seen, but then tomorrow he could come out and hit 80.

that's the only problem with his game. when he's off, he is just off.

what you are talking is pre 2004 season phil. This year he is much more conservative than before

true that.

but he is as good in my opinion, as tiger was during his peak (amazing but tiger may have passed his peak) but he isn't as consistent even this year as tiger was during his record run.

yeah the only problem with phil is consistency..
but IMO tiger at his peak is still much better than phil.. no one is as good as him..
I dont think Tiger has passed his peak, I am quite sure he will win one or more majors next year

i don't think even tiger will ever surpass the tiger slam year. 4 grand slams consecutive over 2 seasons setting or matching the course record at every major. that's pretty major.

yeah I dont think he will be able to do that again. but IMO its not because he passed his peak, its just because the other players just simply got better. Tiger started the fitness and muscle craze, and everyone else is now driving the ball as far as him. But Tiger still has a KILLER short game, and IMO if he is on he is still better than the other players.

IMO tiger can win 1 or 2 majors in a year, maybe 3, but 4 is just almost impossible

Were they playing lift, clean, and place? Geiberger, Beck and Sorenstam were. That makes it easier. Those guys are REALLY GOOD when they put there hands on the ball!!
