I listen to the show every night and think if any of you like talk radio then check it out. His show basically has the premise of he's the host, he's the guest callers, but his callers that are calling in dont know he's both. It's good stuff.

Just like Ebay is a perfect fit for the internet, Phil Hendrie is a perfect fit for radio. The program is genius, as is Hendrie. I do think the show would be better if it was a bit shorter though.

ive heard the show a few times (when i was in charlotte a few summers ago). pretty funny but nowhere near as funny as OPIE & ANTHONY (Ron & Fez rock too)!!! My ultimate radio station would have:

6am-10am: Scott Ferrell
10am-2pm: Phil Hendrie
2pm-3pm: Worst of O&A
3pm-7pm: O&A
7pm-11pm: R&F

I think Opie & Anthony are childish that only care about potty humor and naked girls. Phil Hendrie's comedy is light years in superiority.

that's just my opinion. not everyone has the same sense of humor. the two shows are very different, and i find both of them funny for different reasons. one comedian o&a have had on is Brian Regan. Download a few of his bits from ur favorite p2p program and let me know what you think (much different than the "potty humor" you describe).

BTW Thanks for the tip. Here in Atlanta he is on WGST-am640. I wont bother posting a link cuz they suck.You cant pick them up 15 miles outside of Atlanta.I listen to him a lot in South Florida where he is on live and then they have a replay of the night before on in the morning.

This guy should really be smacking down any syndicated crap like Howard Stern,JohnBoy and Billy et al. He is so damn creative that even when he lets the callers in on the gag,they still dont get it.

IMO he is the probably the most creative person on the radio. He takes what Orson Welles did with "War of the Worlds" and brings it to a new level.You really have to hear it to believe it.

All you can eat negro is probably the single most funny bit I have ever heard in my life. Basically he is interviewing a black lady(Phil Hendrie himself) and he says that Catholics eat a symbolic symbol of Christs body and she is appalled. Then a priest calls up and tries to explain to her that it is symbolic,an Catholics DO NOT eat humans. Well, she gets all upset and calls him a cannibal and starts ranting about hoe the Catholics are going to "mac" on her little boy. At the end he loses it and starts to laugh/cry hysterically. It is so damn funny,I still cry when I hear it.

Phil speaks with Steve Bosell from Corona, CA about a lawsuit that has been filed against him. Steve wanted to show his son that he could be cool like the guys in "Jackass" so he took his neighbors retarded daughter, wrapped her in pillows, stuck her in a shopping cart and raced her down a hill into a lemon grove.
