Phil Hartman was one of the funniest people ever.

You may remember him from such shows as NewsRadio and Pee-wee's Playhouse.

Also was a heck of an artist.

So true. Man, Lionel Hutz may be the funniest charater on the Simpsons.

So damn funny. I remember seeing an article somewhere that said that he had the most fun of any job he had doing the Simpsons and it sure did show.

far more versatile, and useful on that cast than Belushi ever was. Belushi was great, of course. But not as important, and useful on SNL as Hartman. Hartman could do anything. He was brilliant at characters in the way that tom Hanks is.
