They compared Phenom & Athlon X2 2 the same speed & run them using only 1 core to benchmark their single core performance......

Who said it was bad to begin with? Edz is just trying to do the same thing, he/she has done in about 20 other different threads.

I'm not an intel fanboy, I want AMD to succeed because competition is good, but when you compare phenom to Quad core intel it just isn't that good, and then when it comes to overclocking, again intel is way ahead.

I hope AMD pulls something out of their sleeve, but I'm worried that it won't happen.

I'm not backing up AMD for fanboyism.......

I don't want them to lose too deep that Intel will higher the price of future processors...

I'm happy that I can buy AMD & Intel for a good price right now....

But If AMD cannot keep up with Intel this 2008....I'm sure Penryn prices will not be as good as its benchmark reviews........

And you sir are the fanboy here. Trust me, I wish as much as anyone that Phenom was better but its not. It sucks and Intel is where its at right now. It sucks even worse since Intel will probably raise the price of the Q9xxx line if/when it comes out Q1 of next year but being in denial isn't going to help
