Hey, the overclocked duct tape in my gaming system runs all of my games just fine. Sure, it doesn't give me the FPS that you guys with your expensive silk tape get, but a human eye can't see more than ½ of a frame per second, anyway. It isn't an ES, but I don't recommend buying it yet. The aig and other places that are selling it, are selling it for well above the MSRP (as usual). Wait a few months, and maybe the prices will come down to where they should be. In the meantime, just buy a $500 video card.

Nowadays I am more the budget minded type enthousiast, so I'm obviously looking to invest my upgrade dollars into a cloth tape system. (rolling my eyez at you ballerz with your silk tape systems) Too bad I'm under NDA or I'd be blitzing you with some mad numbers from now until Sunday sunday sunday.

C'mon now, even on their worst days the AMD marketing team wasn't this bad.

what I want to see is the PRICE on the new phenoms 2... the phenom was not a bad chip, it was just priced in a way that you would have to be retarded to buy one. If budgeting then you should have gotten an X2, if not then a C2D or C2Q...
Price can make or break a product... the HD4xxx series has been giving nvidia such a stomping due to price. and the GTX2xx series has been having problems for exactly the same reason...

So I can't wait to see some prices on the phenom2, much more important then benchmarks.
