Phase Change

Hey guys simple question? (Forgive the noobiness)

What is phasechange cooling? It's better than Water Cooling right? What is the BEST cooling, (barring price)

-Kevin

The best cooling would be liquid nitrogen cooling (-200C). But that really isn't mainstream at all, and has only been done a few times. More mainstream would be the Prometia, which uses compressor cooling (like a freezer), and get CPU temps down to around -30,-40C.

Jeez, that liquid nitrogen is a beast isn't it. Where does Phase Change stand on that chart.

If people have the components that cool couldn't a prescott OC to like 5GHZ then, or would there not be enough juice to get it there (power).

best cooling: custom phase change.....dual cascade unit: using two compressor
evaporator temps: -100c to -140c

Getting very close to LN2, LN2 no good - does not last long and hard to obtain.
