even if it wasn't doesn't it make sense in a way? long gone are the days when people had to have personal responsability/accountability....now you can screw whatever you want and be generally "covered" from a serious reprocussion such as a child....not saying it is a bad thing per say, but I can understand how it makes people less responsible and more careless.

Yeah, the downfall of society and its morals at the hands of birth control pills. Makes sense.

It all started with the pullout method.

Geeze.

and your point? if I knew I would die because of a small accident you would bet your ass I would drive far more cautiously than I do now and I am certain that many others would as well, if you feel otherwise then I fear you are a moron.

not saying this at all, but rather when people know there is an easy out they are far more lax with precautions....if there was a 50/50 chance that every time you had sex you could possibly produce a child and once that happened there was no termination would you have sex as often? I know I wouldn't...but now that people can bang all the time and either prevent it from the get go or abort it afterwards then there is no cause for concern.

not talking about glory days of morality, however my post is directed more towards responsibility and reactions for certain acts....now people can do whatever they want with little to no recourse however in the past it wasn't so easy....get a clue.

Yep, seat belts and birth control will be the downfall of Western society.

No it's not a joke. Before birth control it was hard to get a young girl to agree to sex.
She knew she could become pregnant. Young men were forced to marry earlier because that was the only way they could get sex.
Nowadays a man doesn't have to marry he can just go from girl to girl with no responsibility or cares. Girls too dont have to hold out til marriage because if they're on the pill they don't have to worry about pregnancy. In the past if a girl got pregnant then she would have a hard time finding a husband. Nowadays people put off marriage for far too long. In the past the sex drive started at the same age as now OK by 13 or so you are starting to go slightly nuts wanting sex. So if you have not had it by the time you're 18 you're ready to get married or whatever it takes.( this is how nature intends it by the way)
Too easy to get it now so there is no need to get married. Marriage is seen as unnecessary thing that you can put off until you find this perfect someone, who doesn't even exist. Try before you buy. Only there is no reason to ever buy. This is just a small part of the harm that birth control has done to our country.Because of this attitude noone even respects marriage at all anymore.Married women are hit on as much as single women out in public. Men don't care that that is another mans wife.
They don't respect marriage at all so they don't respect anyones marriage. Adultery laws are not even enforced. Pornography is sold openly. Sex isn't viewed as something between a man and wife but this big friggin societal orgy that anyone can participate in. Well, starting to get the idea yet?:

So let's ban seatbelts, and airbags. Everyone will be a safer driver. Let's also ban insurance too. Everyone will drive carefully if they aren't insured.
Responsibility is not just about dealing with consequences, it's about managing risk to avoid those consequences. So if women want to reduce their risk of getting pregnant, more power to them. You aren't going to be there taking care of their kids, so it's none of your business.
