PGR2 for Xbox

Have you ever played Burnout 2? Supposed to be really fun, how's the "fun" factor compare between the two?

right now I'm playing Rallisport Challenge 2, its pretty fun too.

Syringer, I havn't played Burnout2. I'm sure they're very very different racers though. PGR2 is great, single player is okay, but online is where its at.

777php: I want to pick up RSC2, but I have the first one and never played it, so I figure I'd be best playing that game first. There also TOCA Race Driver2 and Forza coming out soon. RSC2 isn't on the top of my list right now.

You should try Rallisport 2. I always loved PGR but RSC2 is better I'd say. The only bad part is that you do not have communication with everyone during the game.

i have rallisport 2, and hate it, it doesnt feel as smooth as pgr2...

Rallisport1 was ridiculously difficult in single player mode, did they make it any easier in 2 player mode? In Rallisport1 you're expected to know the perfect line for every turn and never crash in 4-5 races if you want to advance. That game frustrated me to all hell. At least they could have let you practice before the race.

That's the truth. The racing is pretty brutal compared to PGR2, and the only part with some replayability is the crash mode.
Used it's a good game for $5-8, PGR2 is worth it's $25 new pricetag right now though. It looks and plays really good.

How good is PGR2 compared to 1? I didn't really like 1 when it came out. After the first few levels I found it way too hard and it needed a huge time commitment.

PGr2 fixed that from the first one, the difficulty curve is not as high anymore

they need a damn racing game like GT4 for pc. It pisses me off that there arn't any great realistic street racing games (NFSU does not fit under this catagory).

Rallisport is definitely fun, so is PGR2, Burn out 2 was also fun!! You're doing good no matter what you pick, burn out 2 is definitely more fun solo playing though, just because boosters and stuff give it that extra kick, plus the "crash mode" or whatever it's called is fun, i mean who doesn't like causing tremendous chaos with a car and getting points for it!
