After an amazing eagle from Yang on the short par 4 to give yang a 1 stoke lead, yang and tiger are finishing up 17. Tiger with a boogey, yang needs a 7 footer for par which would be a basic win with two troke lead going into 18

HE MISSED IT! Yang missed his putt. only one stroke lead going into 18.

nail biter. Tiger is 14/14 on majors when leading after 3rd round. Streak could be broken or we could have a playoff.
 
I love these down-to-wire battles in the final holes of a major championship.

The US open last year was so epic when Tiger eeked one out in a playoff with two bad knees.
 
Tiger's putting is soooo off today. I feel like Tiger should be dominating at this point if he even made half of those putts that were very makeable. The greens must be crazy.

Would be nice to see Tiger to lose but was hoping Ernie would be in it.

How he cleared that tree with a 3-hybrid is beyond me. How it landed so softly is beyond me.

Yang should be your winner and most likely will be. Doubtful tiger can chip in given how deep/shaggy this rough is.
 
Damn.. must wait another few years for Tiger to catch Jack 🙁.

But huge props to Yang on very timely incredible shots. That 2nd shot is still friggin unreal to me. How the efff did he just clear the tree w/ a wood and stuck it?!?!
