I have this monitor and have a few questions about it. I'm using it as my second monitor on a dual monitor setup. (configs are in my sig)

1. Why does every thing look sunken in on this monitor?
(I tried adjusting it, did not help it just looks bad to me. Am I just used to non flat screens? )
I noticed this from the day I got it but thought it was supposed to be that way.

2. Is this supposed to be one of their (viewsonic) better monitors or is this just middle of the line?

3. The picture gets scrunched up more as it gets to the side of the monitor. This could be because of ultramon or other software issues. It did not do this when I used at as single monitor (that I can remember). I know this is more of a software question you can ignore it if you want.

I think everything that you've mentioned is due to the flat design of the tube. Take a look at the edge of the tube (near the bottom of the screen) and you can see the varying thickness of the monitor, which may affect how you perceive the display on the screen. It'll take a little while for you to get used to the flat design of that screen. When I got my first flat CRT it looked sunken in too!
