Just wondering how this restaurant is... I heard it's over-charged and not really that great, but my girlfriend (for some reason).... REALLY likes it (She's been there before)... just wondering how it is, thanks 🙂

I've eaten at the one there and the one in Santa Monica and I think they are both really good.

I highly recommend the dan-dan noodles. 🙂

we have one here in K.C. , its about 1/2 mile from my office building

everybody raves about it, i haven't been there yet, i am waiting for a vendor to take me there for lunch (free food tastes better 😀 )

If it's like the one that opened here a few years back (In Somerset Mall, Troy, MI), the restaurant is a nice place, good ambience and friendly service. The food itself isn't too great, and certainly isn't too Chinese. It's like a posh Americanized Chinese restaurant, since they don't serve the normal stuff, since they're more upscale, but at the same time, the stuff they do serve isn't traditional at all.

But all in all, the tastes are pretty decent, and they do have some rather nice dishes, but they also have some that are rather "ehhh", and you'll regret spending $20 on it. 🙂

Just my $.02

People think PF Changs is upscale/rave about it? The one here is in a frickin mall, for chrissakes! I wonder what these people would think if they went to a real restaurant. Just my little food rant about chain restaurants. 🙂

Pf changs has decent food, but the it is more about the environment and presentation. The food is overpriced` below average servings americanized chinese food with excellent presentation. If you are going there for good chinese food, don't. If you are going there to impress your girlfriend, that would work.

i agree the dan dan noodles are very good and i like the lettuce wrap apitizer.

I'm weary of any sort of American chinese food. Frankly, if I'm gonna eat, I'm not really concerned how much it costs, as long as it really good. If I want Chinese, I'm more then willing to hop on the freeway and goto Alhambra or San Gabriel and get some real stuff, at a fraction of the cost.

Just my $0.02. I could be wrong.

If you want Chinese food I won't recommend PF chang <---Fusion Food? don't know who invented that crap(maybe i'm not into that type of food ). But its worth a try once and never go again.

The PF Chang's in LA was exquisite... the one in Bellevue (WA) was subpar, to say the least.

It's a toss up... more often than not, I'd go for it.

As far as I'm concerned, PF Chang's offers some of the best Chinese food out there. Maybe it's Americanized, maybe you think it's not worth the money, but every time I go I get awesome service, and above average food.

The mango iced tea is also something to speak about. Very good.

My favorites from their menu are the shrimp fried rice, Crispy Honey Chicken, Lemon Pepper Shrimp, and if you like something spicy, then the house Chang's Chicken is excellent.

PF Chang's is AWESOME. Very good food. I've been to the one in Tempe, AZ. It's a great place and you have to try the orange peel chicken and lo mein.

Are you talking about the one on the Plaza? Yeah, pretty good food - it's about four blocks from my office building. 🙂 I tried the Mu Shu Pork the other day and I liked that enough. I wouldn't say the food is anything spectacular, and it is a little pricey for lunch, but not really that bad overall.

PF Chang's isn't even Chinese food. I've been to 3 different locations (not by will of course) and have been unimpressed with the food. The restaurants are nice but they're food is borderline. It's just a "yuppie, wasting they're money, thinking they're eating chinese food" hangout. A big waste of time and money. I don't even know why morons go to this place other than to trying to out-do and impress one another. Word of advice, a restaurant is NOTHING without good food. And this place does not have good food.

I've eaten at one in Houston and I thought it was delicious. I'm no food connoisseur, but I know what tastes good to me, and that it did. I really liked the Beef & Broccoli, but my utter favorite was those lettuce wraps with that sauce they "create" right in front of you. Yum!

I LOVED the ambience of the place too. Really cool.

Been to the PF Chang's in Oak Brook IL. (hmm did not know they were a chain) the food is good if thats the type of food you like. I would stay away from the mango chicken I did not like it.

I used to go to the one in Santa Monica cuz my coworkers liked it. It taste neither like good Chinese or American food. The fusion concept got messed up somewhere. Basically these fusion places are for those luxury SUV driving, Ambercombie & B!tch wearing yuppies.
