he is SAYING a team loses as a TEAM, Offense AND defense bears responsibility for losses.

OMFG, peyton mb a choker but he is one of the most accurate passers i've seen in my 25 yrs of football viewing.

I never said Peyton isn't one of the best QB's of all time, because he is. He is also though, a big choker. 🙂

man just t hink how scarry they would be if they had a great defence? hmm to bad you couldnt take the colts offence and give it to the bears..oh yeah.

but if you could choose any dynasty teams offense (Steelers when they won 4, Cowboys when they won three, Niners etc) on a team like that, do you HONESTLY think Peyton wouldn't have been DOMINANT??

football is soo much more team dependent than any other sport, to put the onus of a lose completely on one player is just stupid.

Didn't Peyton Manning come back in a lot of the wins they've had this season? In fact, hasn't he had a lot of come back wins throughout his career?

Edit: In fact, 28 times he has led his team to victory in a game winning drive as of Oct. 31st.

They still can't stop the run...

Oh well. Who dey!? We dey!

umm, you guys haven't had much in the run category. You're getting stomped.

"You"? I hate both teams, just I'm rooting for the colts since the Steelers still have a chance to make the playoffs with a Bungles loss. 🙂

pretty much. give him the ball with 2 minutes left and good chance they'll get a TD.

Peyton Manning in the playoffs. 9 games:

193/322, 2461 yards, 15 tds, 8 ints--4 of those ints game in one game. He's had a game with 3, 4, and 5 TD passes.

If you extrapolate that out to a 16 game season, that'd be 4375 yards, with 27 tds, 14 ints, and a QB rating of about 90.

That would rank among one of his best seasons. In any given year that'd be a pro bowl year, if not make him rank high in the MVP rankings.

There's more to a team than a QB. Peyton is extremely unfairly singled out because he does so much in the regular season, and in fact plays nearly as well in the playoffs. It's just the rest of the team that doesn't step up when it comes to crunch time.

He also didn't miss a FG at the end of the game last year against the Steelers.

In his last 6 playoff games, Peyton and the Colts have gone 3-3..with all three losses going to teams that would go on to win the Super Bowl.

ya, people that want to call peyton a choker keeps forgetting who he "choked" against.

Come on the steelers last year were very very good and the Patriot teams that manning lost to, not many QB's in the league would have beaten those patriot teams (oh wait a minute, hardly anyone did beat those Pat teams).

tell me he has choked when he loses a big game to a team that is CLEARLY worse than his, THEN it's a choke, not when he loses to teams that are BETTER than his.
