This is item number 1,578,356 why people hate patriots fans.

/sits back and relaxes while you whiners stew in your hatred

I don't have to hate, my boys are 8-1 and going to see you in the super bowl (which btw was Deeko's prediction before the season started).

And you are truly clueless, 25 seconds with no timeouts is not 25 seconds with 1 timeout, or 1:05 with no timeouts. The first scenario eliminates throws to the middle of the field.

You need to check out that AFC champ game again, Manning had no time to throw and was constantly getting hit. Before I even heard his comments I remember thinking: what the hell happened to the Colts O line.

there is only so far you can go before injuries overcom the team.

BUT that was not the reason they lost (while it did hurt them) it was mainly Manning throwing 6 picks.

I was really impressed by Tony Dungy's post game speech , where he said he apologized to the team for the timeout and basically took the blame, this is why Indy and Dungy are well liked, totally opposite is the 'run up the score' tool belichick

I would tend to believe that this source doesn't know what the hell they're talking about since in a players poll in SI Manning was up there as one of the nicest players in the NFL. Not that I'm jumping on the bandwagon or anything, but just because he's a great quarterback doesn't mean he's not allowed to get angry and question things at times.

So you're not supposed to question your boss?

When you throw 6 picks and your boss' "goofup" isn't that big a deal? No...

see thats part of it. you really don't get the "goofup" was a big deal.

while yes most of the loss is mannings fault. that extra timeout could have won the game.

Considering Manning threw his 6th pick afterwards, no he couldn't.

to be fair, that's only because he was forced to throw into the sidelines which were very well covered because he had no timeouts left.

<- Cowboys fan, Brady fan, Manning fan

To play devil's advocate, when you don't lose you don't have to lose graciously. I don't what people think about Bill but he is an incredible coach and I would cream my pants if he was ever the cowboys coach (especially with Romo at the helm).

Exactly. Add to that the fact that Dungy apologized to the team after the game for taking that time out.

I wonder if the special teams players and coaches are apologizing to the team after every game this season? :p

Well duh Dungy apologized, how often have you seen Dungy lay blame on someone else? He's a good guy who does take the bullet for the team. However, Manning has demonstrated that he WILL lay blame on others, both publicly and privately.

Yet he 100% took the blame for the 6 interceptions?...His opinion was the time out was a bad idea that was agreed upon after the game by his coach? So really, this thread is meaningless. :D
