This is Jaeger.

He was 10 when this was taken about a year ago. He's getting old 🙁

He's only one of about 300 in the United States. He's a Kleine Münsterlander, imported from Hamburg, Germany. Münsterlanders are considered by Germans to be the smartest German breed.

The mother was a stray. She was obviously a chow mix. She had the blue tongue and Chow body, but her face was different, the nose was pointed and she was solid white. The father was a black and white spotted Blue Tick Hound mix. Put them together and you get the Chowhound. 🙂

Winston is a real cutie of a puppy. What breed is he?
