i was just thinking of one i have, its people that call photoshop "adobe"

"you have adobe?"

"i want to get adobe, but its so expensive"

DAMMIT adobe is a company not a farging product. its called PHOTOSHOP

ok i'm off to bed, now start posting annoying stuff and try to get all worked up and hopefully injure a coworker or something 🙂

I've just got a 60 Megabyte hard drive

You mean Gigabyte?

No the guy in the shop said it was a top of the range 60 Megabyte hard drive

Ok, whatever :disgust:

... I here you... that is a pet peeve of mine also.

It is just another instance where brand recognition controlls the marketplace for that specific type of product.

Kinda like when people say "Can you xerox this paper for me?"... Ah.. No... Xerox is a brand of copy machine. Also people say "Can I have a kleenex?" ... Kleenex is a brand of tissue.

Another thing that I can't stand is when people say the score of a sporting event backwards... Like this

"The Lakers are winning 75 to 91" or "The Yankees are winning 4 to 7 in the 8th inning"

people who use wrestling slogans. like that what thing. also people who call pop, soda. it just dosen't sound right to me.

Well...if you think about it, adobe is rather expensive to buy, considering its a company and all 🙂
