What do you guys think of personality types? Is it bull or is it something that truly describes a persons personality? Any other thoughts on the matter? I don't know much about personality types, but find them interesting.

Yeah I don't know the reliability of thoise tests either. My personality type has changed over the years, so it seems. I know I am introverted, the rest I am unsure of. I took a couple of the on-line tests recently and this is the results from them. I don't mind the type I have been given by those tests, because I think it is mostly true. The last time I took them which was a couple years ago I was an infp. I just think this stuff is kinda interesting.

I did the real official Meyers Briggs test for a class a while back and ended up with INTJ. It seems to describe me well, I even tried the very short informal tests afterwards and still got INTJ. Supposedly it's one of the rarest types? Not that I really care for these things.

hmm... Wouldn't really say visionary however I like it. Fits me pretty well. Especially the

"ENTPs are fluent conversationalists, mentally quick, and enjoy verbal sparring with others. They love to debate issues, and may even switch sides sometimes just for the love of the debate. When they express their underlying principles, however, they may feel awkward and speak abruptly and intensely."

Yeah I have taken the test I linked a couple times and gotten different answers. All of them are introversion though.

I took the Meyers Briggs at an employer a few years back, and at that time I was an INTP. I've taken a few of the tests online and it seems that I am at times an INTJ and others an INTP. One thing is certain though, I'm most definitely an introvert.

I'm borderline between INTJ and ESTJ. I feel I'm more introverted, but show some extroverted characteristics. INTJ is supposed to actually be a relatively rare personality type, but think we see a lot of it here due to people being more likely to be similar on a computer forum.

Obviously, these personality types are just ways of classifying people, and they aren't by any means set in stone. They change over time, and change depending on the method used to determine the classification.
