edit: I guess I didn't make it clear. It's a repost of another thread but with the other thread already 5 pages in I wanted to ask about how your personality correlates to your job and how happy you are with it.

I went to some career counseling. Personal one one one evaluation along with personality tests yield much more valuable than just the test. The exercises you go through are more tuned to what kind of environments you like/dislike and can be very accurate.

INTJ. I'm a software implementation project manager.

Good fit for my career - I like being in charge of the way things run, but I get to do it by making process and system decisions in the background rather than being the upfront leader. Lots of conceptual planning and then putting it into practice. I have enough "E" to make me personable to my business clients, so I don't display too much of the off-putting "I" qualities (even though I'd REALLY like to, sometimes). The profile recommends systems analyst, business administrator, and corporate strategist among the job matches, and those combined are pretty close to describing what I do.
