personal bandwidth limiting program

hey,
i am looking for a program that i can use to limit the bandwidth my personal comp uses... ie, i can install it on the comp i want to limit. i don't need anything fancy: and i really on want to limit my upload bandwidth. if i can specify limits on individual programs, that would be even better! i checked good for a half hour and couldn't come up with anything (besides dedicated enterprise solutions.. little bit of overkill for me.) thanks.

www.mikrotik.com the free trial version should be capable enough for your needs and should do what you want. You could also do something like this through a linux/freebsd box on its own.

hmm.. actually, this is it's own OS, and if i wanted to use it properly, i would have to dedicate hard to it... i don't really want to do that, because i just want to limit my own bandwidth on my own comp.. sorta like what share programs can already do on their own. something crude would work.. if i could could do was specify upload and download rates, that's all i need.
