Personal attacks and insults - yes or no?

I've surely insulted other posters and have been warned. But, when other posters insults me and they are reported, no action is taken.

So, are personal attacks and insults allowed? Or, are they allowed only for a select few?

They are also warned...but you do not need to know that.......

That has not been the practice with myself and others - they are edited with a warning from the Mods (stating the offense, etc.).

When myself, and others, are modded - the mods edit the post and state what was done wrong.

You have honestly never seen this before on these forums?

And there have been cases where personal attacks/insults are modded in P&N and have not (meaning, reported and no action taken).

Well the next part says that there's a line to how far the insults can go.. so it's kind of going to depend on the mod's discretion...

I think there should be absolutely no direct or indirect personal attacks and stuff like %$#& in place of cursing should also be disallowed!!
