Your dollar becoming more valuable than the US dollar is going to crush your economy. It's a bad thing. You shouldn't be wishing it. 90% of Canadian export gets bought up from the US. If it's suddenly more expensive to buy it in Kanadia, the US is going to look elsewhere for it and the Canadian economy will crumble.

BTW, found out from my dad that I still have a Canadian long-term savings account in my name, in Canadian dollars!I've had it since I was 10 I think (18 years) and haven't made any deposits or withdrawals. Suppose I started with $100 CDN in 1989--how much is it worth now in $US (with compounding interest?)
