I think Perkins has been around almost as long as any of them.

When I lived in Vero Beach, we didn't have Chilis. We didn't have a TGIF's or Applebees or any of the big chain restaurants, but we had a Perkins!

Now, 15 years later, they have everything BUT a Perkins. Go figure. Then again, we had 24 hour Taco Bell's that served breakfast back then too, and whenever I mention that to people they look at me like I'm growing a third eye.

I missed starting the day with a *good* (as opposed to McD's) breakfast burrito and a cup of Joe from the Bell. 😉
