period usage

help me:

a) this is a sentence (this part is in brackets.)
b) this is another one (another part in brackets).
c) the following is in quotes, "blah blah blah."
d) here's a mix, "yadda yadda (blah blah blah.)"
e) and here it is done differently, "yadda yadda (blah blah blah)."
f) and again, "yadda yadda (blah)".

where should i be putting periods? which ones of these are right?

b, and e

so periods go outside of brackets but inside of quotations?

except when doing something like saying, 12". or maybe i dunno, but i've always wondered about this situation.

yeah but that's a denotation of inches, that's different

its not a quotation in this usage, just a symbol, so 12". is right

hardcorerobot said, "my weiner is 12"."
