Well if you read my blog you can see the components that ive chosen for this build and I was curious for a better RAID controller because I know the one i picked will not be able to use the full power of 8 SSD drives in RAID 0. If anyone has a good alternative that would be wonderful.

This system is made for gaming and workstation graphics. I know that gaming cards are not the best choice for solidworks or autocad but in comparison with mid range workstation graphics I am pretty sure it will do just fine. Also for this build it was not so much workstation capabilities but an attempt to use some new technologies such as SSD's or DDR3. The Budget was 15,000 dollars and we wanted to see what we could do to fill in that void. The only thing we did not want to do was watercooling because this machine will be going to someone who will probably not want to deal with watercooling hassles such as refilling the reservoir. A mild overclock will probably be used and thats about it. If you read my blog you can see more specifics.

But if you have any suggestions on a better RAID controller that would be greatly appreciated

I think this post would get more response if it was moved to the General Hardware section.
