performance difference between GeForce and GeForce2?

I have a Creative Labs GeForce 256 DDR 32mb in my computer now.

I just picked up a couple Guillemot GeForce2 MX 32mb SDR for computers I'm building for friends.

Can some explain the performance differences between the two cards as I may want to keep one for myself.

(for the above comparison, cost is not a consideration)

The Geforce DDR would be about the same as the MX up to about 1024x768 where the memory bandwidth problem kicks in and the DDR card wil take a lead cause it has more memory bandwidth. So, u should probably stick w/ the Geforce or keep on for the heck of it =D

Yep. If you have an older motherboard or a low power supply get the GF2 MX.
