Language in general, has a profound effect on how we view the world. Looking at the development of programming languages (as an example) would add a lot to this discussion. As hardware is getting faster, and compilers are getting better, we are no longer constrained to the traditional ways of solving problems. And so the question arises as to what kind of a language should we invent for ourselves?
