On another note, I'm going to make a trip up to an office store later (Max, Depot, or Staples), to grab some more pens and pencils.

I've used G2's for a long time, and I like them, but they don't seem to...glide on the paper very nicely. Anyone have any recommendations for either some better ink, or a different type/style of pen to try? I'd like something kind of nice as I don't lose them too often, but I don't want to spend $20+ for a pen, lol. Thanks.

Very nice, I like the look of those! A further question though, what exactly is the difference between...

Retractable ballpoint

Retractable gel

and these really expensive roller balls

And which would you recommend?

Can't comment on the roller balls. Hell I'm using the Gel one right now. Glides over paper, and one MARKED improvement over the G2 IMHO is that it has a nice solid feel to it.
