Lead pencils, pens, whatever. How do you roll?

I'm a .5 man myself.

.7 for pens and pencils. My handwriting looks best when written with a .7 pencil. A .5 tip will sometimes scratch the paper or indent it, making it look not so good.

0.5mm pencil, medium tip blue ink pen.

Anyone know what instigated the move from blue to black pens? Seems that the majority of pens are now black ink.

0.5 for both pens and pencils during normal writing, but 0.3 pens when doodling for that extra level of detail.

BTW, G-2 is the best pen EVAR.

Having used hundreds of G2 pens in a prior occupation, I can attest that they are not. Don't get me wrong, they are VERY good, BUT if you drop it you're fucked. After a drop, you have a 50% shot of getting a leaky tip, which will fuck your shit up.

Similar to a G2, but BETTER is this pen I got from TUL distributed by officemax

Never used those, but I personally prefer Zebra Sarasas to G2s (in .7 size). Not only do Sarasas have better colors, but they write smoother too.

The best pen I've ever used is the Lamy 2000 with an xf nib, a fountain pen. A good fountain pen just glides over the paper, hardly any pressure is needed at all, and my handwriting looks much nicer as a result. Probably the most understated fp too, not flashy in any way.

0.7mm.
0.5mm breaks constantly, and I've never seen 0.9mm mechanical pencils.
