Wrong. All rentals, at least in my area, are widescreen (if widescreen is an option). The only exception is if it's an older movie that was originaly transfered as P&S and later re-released in WS (BB wouldn't buy the new WS version to replace the existing P&S version all ready on the shelf).
I am really surprised at how WS friendly BB is. We barely even carry any P&S versions for purcahse, and every BB employee I know will always recommend (even argure if it comes to that) Wide Screen to customers.

Do they sell widescreen TV's?? I'm not talking about 16:9 ones, but full 2.35:1 ones.

Shorter movies + no bonus material == pan & scan and widescreen on one disc.
But pan & scan is evil, so I'd just as soon not have it suck up valuable content space on my discs.
