Dude, I said it before and I'll say it again. She's a freaking kid. She doesn't KNOW what she wants in a relationship. The 20 year old is too young too, but at least she's been out of her parent's house living on her own for chrissakes. Even if the 18yo is an absolutely perfect soulmate, I GUARANTEE she will NOT be the same person in 3 or 4 years. You won't either, but you'll be a lot closer to your current self than she will be.

Albeit harsh, there is a lot of good advice in this thread. Don't throw your heart to any of them. If you want to date them, go for it. Enjoy life. If things are meant to be, maybe you'll get serious with one of them. But right now you're acting a fool.
 
With the pics you enclosed, id say the real girl looks better than the dream girl. If you think the real girl has an appreciation for your interests/hobbies, is more down-to-earth, can handle stress and drama better, then go for her.

Am I the only one disturbed by this statement? So let me do the math, 11 years ago, when you were 14 you had a crush on this girl. Now, follow with me here. She's 18 now, so 18 minus the same 11 years = 7 years old. So you were digging a 7-year old when you were 14? She was your dream girl at age 7? Get real man, you just failed the ATOT bull$hit test, or you're a pedophile. Take your pick.
 
Yeah. Real girl is hotter if you ask me, but I'm a tit man. Go with whichever one you will have a better time with. I'd take a less attractive girl who swears and has a shrewd sense of humor over some ironing board personality super model.

If you think of the "real" girl as flawed, why would you even be interested in a relationship? Or are you just lining up a fvck buddy?

um ther real girl is much more attractive, and doesn't look like she belongs in a sorority (and no i didn't read any of the actual post)

Unless you're just looking for a lay or quick relationship, go for the girl with the better personality & better heart & head on her shoulders. Looks will wear off after a while, and once you get down to the meat and potatoes of the relationship, it's all about what she's like on the inside.
 
I say go for the real girl. Not only does she look better than the dreamchick, its also the path of less resistance. You two already dig each other, WTF are you waitin on? LOL
 
dude im in the same position.......im 25 also.

I just broke up with my g/f of 2 years. 23 immature but really good looking. Now that we've broken up she wants to get back together etc, but i have girl i work with who i've been hooking up with. Shes 30, got her stuff together, tall, 5'10", also very attractive. brown hair blue eyes......and 100% italian. 🙂 So shes the "smart choice"

Now what makes us similiar is that i got a call last night from my "dream girl". met her 7 years ago at work, she ended up getting married and has a kid now blah blah blah. Well she called me to tell me she sent me some new pics of her daughter, and i told her i couldnt talk b/c i was headed out. She says tell "ex g/f name here" i said hi, i told her we broke up 4 weeks ago. She tells me she is in the middle of getting a divorce, and proceeds to ask me out for drinks next week.

What you need to do is look at YOUR life. Are you happy being single? Are you wanting to settle down? If you want to settle and keep your sanity go with the mature girl living on her own. She'll treat you right and you'll probably not have to worry about her cheating on you.....unlike dream girl that will EVENTUALLY break up with you b/c she will want to see whats else is out there...she barely 18 remember? You gonna deal with her going away to school??? I wouldnt.

But if you arent looking for your "life's partner" tell the dreamgirl to wear her halloween costume next time shes over and do it for me. 🙂

I think you both misread his post. When he was 14, he told a completely different girl that she was his dreamgirl. I'm "assuming" she was about his same age at the time.
 
dreamgirl screams high maintinence.

Also, avoid 17-19 for age range at all costs. No matter how mature you think they are, they can flip out at any second.

thank you yes. what I was saying was the last time I classified a girl as my dream girl, I was 14, and the girl was like 22. she was a friend of my bro's gf and was over for a bbq. i was NOT telling a 7 year old when I was 14 that she was my dream girl. whoa. slow down.
