Perc 5i vs Perc 6i, etc

Hi, I am very confused on the Perc 5i, 6i controllers...

I'm looking for a somewhat affordable SAS controller solution and the Perc controllers are on eBay but vary wildly with pricing.

Some places I see the 5i advertised as NON-RAID, other places I see they are all RAID. On Dell's website they have a comparison between them and they are listed as all RAID.

Can somebody clarify?

PERC stands for Poweredge Expandable Raid Controller. All PERC cards do raid. Dell has retired (I believe) the PERC series, and moved to it's H700 series controller.
