Go to Multiplayer, select open location, then type jator.2y.net in the text box. 🙂 Anytime tonight or whenever it's up.

Orange Kid, I made the request to Jator for 3 reasons. 1st is that his server has been runing CTF for some time now, 24/7, 2nd is that I suck at CTF, 3rd is that I love Instagib 😉

Is that tea server instant, decaff, or flow-through? 😉
 
ok, i've been fragged enough 😛 i despise instagib when it lags, lol. i'd fire and about a second later the beam would come out. if anyone cares, my character name was Chris 😛

well, that was interesting. mechBgon and I played for a while. We were lagging pretty bad. 250's on a cable modem for me. 😉 it was definately fun though. Thanks Jator. 🙂

An hour and a half of solid fragging. Too bad it was just bots. 🙁

Oh, did I mention that I suck? Sheesh, there were times the bots (well, 1, anyway..Loque 😛) that beat me. 🙁

Thanks Jay, I had fun! I wasn't able to get on as early as I'd hoped, some stuff got in the way, but I had fun anyways. 😀

I get a ping of 350 or even more and it is really hard to play 🙁. I have a very fast connection to the internet but I live in the UK. Is there anything that I can do?

Well, with Game Box and BGod having super servers up right now, I'm going to take mine offline for a while. I'm switching to DSL in the next few weeks, so then I won't be hosting any more UT as this will be a WebBox only. Thanks for stopping by, and thanks to LD and BGod for getting you guys off my back!!!! 😉

Jay, It's always my pleasure to lend a hand. You got me going when I couldn't figure out ppoxy & ppstats, so it's the least I could do.

Just to let everyone know, I can't play where I parked my server (on a T1+ from Sprint). My ping times will be as bad or worse than everyone elses, I'm on a 56K modem. It takes me 8 hops with tracert.exe and just over 184ms to hit my own server.

There were just over 95,000 frags logged to date on my UT server. I hope to get that up over 150,000 by January 8th when I take it back down.

is it the default port? 6667? I am at work, maybe it's a firewall thing... I keep getting time outs. No connection. Any suggestions are welcome, I'll keep trying. 🙂
 
Yeah Freeze it's the default port, I've got the same problem at work... it's closed down 🙁

You can try the java client tho' you can find it here: Java IRC client I can't use that either from work, but maybe you can... it's worth a shot 😉
