i'd try it. i like vanilla coke already. and i failed a blind taste test between coke and pepsi as 99% of you would.

can easily taste coke and pepsi apart. two different tastes

i like vanilla coke but that probably has something to do with liking coke. pepsi tastes like crap. crystal clear pepsi was even worse, possibly the worst non-diet, non-caffeine free soda ever.

like someone said, vanilla coke + captain mo' is da bomb...

which explains why people fail the blind taste tests?

I think there is a distinct difference. Maybe I'll buy a can of each and have someone pour them into cups just to see if I can really taste the difference.

Same here.... RC too, for that matter.

I like it, mainly because Pepsi tastes better than Coke.

I also like Chocolate Coke, try and find that. Whenever I order it where I can, I just get wierd looks but I like it a lot. My friends call it liquid poop in a glass.

that statistic can't bee true for obvious reasons. for the sake of argument lets say 99% is close enough to 100% to say everyone.

Everyone would think pepsi is coke
Everyone would think coke is pepsi

Not a chance. If they were just guessing it would be no where near that high of a percentage.

perhaps they had each subject try several sets of samples, and only those who got most or all of them correct "passed the test". then the 99% statistic (which im skeptical about too) wouldnt be impossible, just unlikely. or maybe they had each subject try 50 sets of samples and only those who got 50/50 right "passed the test". then i believe the 99% stat.

that 99% could mean anything =)

they have very distinct tastes. as for which is better... i prefer coke, but it just depends on what i feel like drinking 🙂

i tried vanilla pepsi last night. the combination doesn't blend as well as vanilla coke.

i wouldn't drink either of them regularly, though.

i had quite a bit over the weekend, and after about half a can i have to really concentrate to tell whether im drinking vanilla pepsi or just pepsi. im the same way with red fusion, i taste the difference at first but after half a can i cant tell whether im drinking red fusion or original dp.
