Pepsi Vanilla 20oz 2 for $1 at Walgreen's

The best new drink of the summer in 20oz bottles, 2 for a dollar at Walgreen's. I'm not sure if it is just a regional deal or not, but I thought I'd get it out there. I hate to say it, but it tastes a lot better than Vanilla Coke.

is there a diet version? Or just coma-inducing carb-sugar injection?

Why would anyone want to drink a so-called "diet" drink with cancer causing Aspartme(NutraSweet)? Makes no sense. You won't keep any weight off with diet drinks anyway. The "diet" is just a marketing joke.

You say its better than Vanilla Coke? I'm going to have to try this. I think vanilla coke tastes a little too close to cream soda though.

link please? (peer reviewed medical journal, etc)

could be..I just never heard of anything recently that said that...it would be all over the news...every time someone finds something that 'might' cause a problem, you hear about it nonstop

what about this?

Heh.. hooray for anorexia. (alright, alright, that was NOT funny).

I am hitting Walgreens tomorrow, though... and for some odd reason, the google ads for this post are all for hard drives🙂

Yes, there is a diet version, but I've only seen it in 12-pk cans, not 20oz. bottles.

How is the diet a marketing joke? It's 250 calories for regular vs 0 for diet... Do the math. If you drink one per day the diet will save you 91250 calories or 26 pounds. That's hardly a gimmick. Plus, people have tried on multiple occaisions to show that aspartame causes cancer, but they failed. Maybe if you shove an ungodly amount into a rat it would get cancer... to me that proves nothing
