Don't understand all the hate for diet drinks. Are you guys like my BIL and unaware diet soda has zero calories? Or are we all just sugar water snobs now? :D

I can still remember the first time I had chocolate coke. Damn it was so good. I wish I could get it more often.

I stopped soft drinks a while ago. I do drink flavored club soda, but that's it.

Coke, Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Sunkist - whatever, are all nasty and disgusting to me. I can't figure out how people are capable of stomaching so much toxic sugar sludge.

I'm against drinking anything that tastes like ass.

I've only tasted ass once, and diet soda reminds me of that taste.

It tastes like shit. It's better than it was years ago, but it still tastes like ass. They have a thin sweetness, with a bitter finish. Most of what I drink now is unsweetened tea, but I also like unsugared seltzer water. If I drink soda it MUST be sugared. I won't drink diet at all.

Never work for Pepsi... years ago i interviewed with Pepsi on a job and they have this Napoleonic complex with Coca-Cola. Literally everyone i interviewed with said that they're driven by trying to beat them and they work extra hours more than normal companies as a result (not just this department, but the WHOLE company is like that), but they really don't compensate that much better than other companies.

I drink coke because I like the taste and the sugar. If I have a choice between diet and water, I'll pick water.

Thats because Pepsi is disgusting. Whenever I want a coke, I never choose pepsi. THough I often choose Mountain dew for my coke. My wife really loves to drink Coca Cola when she drinks a coke.

Diet Coke is drinkable if you put a lemon or lime wedge in it.

The only diet soda I really like is Diet Dr. Pepper, though.

I once drank a caffeine free diet coke that had expired more than a year before. By drank, I mean vomited.

Usually those abominations freaking separate into its constituents and even if it stays together it tastes like nothing.

Maybe Pepsi should take a clue from Coke and quit alienating large swaths of people with their advertising. They pretty much imply that they don't want anyone over 18 buying their product with some of their advertising and the symbols they use.

Of course whenever you want Coke you never choose Pepsi because umm last I checked, Pepsi is not Coke. Also, how could you choose Mountain Dew for your Coke??? You do realize Coke is a name brand and not what you use to describe Soda right? I guess I found what's worse than pop.

Diet coke is good once you get use to not drinking a sugar sluge drink all the time.

But I bet Coke would sell more diet if they did not have Coke Zero. So Diet Coke should have even higher numbers but coke thinned them out a little with coke zero. But coke zero also picked up quite a few coke drinkers as well.

Coke Zero = Diet Pepsi >>>>>>>>>>>> Diet Coke

I honestly cannot comprehend who would drink Diet Coke over Coke Zero (or Pepsi). It has to be all the restaurants that Coke pays off that have it as their only Diet option.
