Anyone know how in xfire to make it launch the game with 1920x1200 resolution? When I try to join a server through xfire it just uses whatever I have set in the actual game nut what I use in my regular BF2 short cut.
 
I haven't tried this, but I wonder if editing Xfire's xfire_games.ini file would work. Searching that file, you can find the Battlefield 2 section:

Alright dudes, I added all of you who posted your Xfire or added me to their list. I had fun playing with a couple of you last night, hopefully soon we can get a few more so our squad has a little flavor of each class.

I was out all night yesterday, so I coulnd't play. 🙂

I'm up for some BF2 tonight, but I'm sleeping early these few days (2 AM PST), so I can get adjusted for next week, where I'll be at summer camp. 😀

Anyways, I recommend acquiring the BF:V soundtrack and playing it in the background while you play, it's the only thing BF2 is missing, a great soundtrack. See you all on the Battlefield!

I'd join, but I can't even play.

My ping is anywhere between 250 and 2500 from 8am-Midnight. Even worse between 8pm-10pm.

It fvcking sucks 🙁

I have a headset too, but it's not plugged in (I'm lazy.) I should plugin the mic only though, but I haven't.

xfire name is juicetan, haven't been on it in a few months though
 
*NOTICE*: BF2 Stats are down for the time being. EA only has 1 stats server, and all the community stat sites have lagged it up. So, EA is blocking all community sites from their stats servers. Updated stats will *NOT* show on stats sites.
 
My xfire account is the same as mine here. I agree with the team play thing. It makes a game much more fun if people actually pay attention. When I say "Enemy armor spotted" kill it or GTFO of the way!

I am looking for some good attack chopper gunners. I can fly around damn good but i suck if I have a crappy gunner...

I live in VT and usually play after 5pm on weekdays.

i'm a pretty decent chopper gunner.

i'm ok on the tv-missiles. but practice makes perfect.

oh, and i'd love to join as well! i'll go and get xfire

same as in the game and on this forum 😀

I would enjoy some teamwork play. I like to fly the most and I appreciate when squad members actually call in targets they want me to hit. I'll add all of you guys, and see you in game!

I finally got to play with a cople of you last night. Played a little bit with dupont64 (he was bussy mowing down these guys from the 9th xxx clan 🙂 Then I got to play with Broe and Juicetan. Broe excellent chopper pilot (I got to be his gunner and we were just nailing the enemy to the wall. And Juicetan, an excellent teamplayer (he would adjust his gameplay accornding to the current situation).

Good games last night. Hopefully it will be the same tonight or better if we get more AT'ers in.

I had KMDupont join my squad in a game this evening. I don't lead squad's very much, and it showed. So, thanks to Dupont for putting up with that. We were playing that big map with the partially constructed dam in the middle, and I always get lost on that map.

Tonight was no exception. I only realized after we were done playing that I was giving an order to my squad to go attack one flag, and then I'd head off in the direction of another. Doh! I really need to work on my map-reading skills.
