People who use MS keyboards (with the shortcut keys on top) - how to make it work with Winamp?

Hey guys. Way back when Best Buy had a sale on the MS Internet Keyboard, I picked one up to replace my generic. Definitely a great keyboard.

Here's the question though: Using IntelliType 2.2 I once set "Stop", "Forward" and "Back" to play/pause, skip and go to the previous MP3 in my Winamp playlist. Additionally when Winamp wasn't currently loaded, hitting "Stop" brought it up - at which point the "Stop" button would play/pause tracks.

Today I updated IntelliType to 5.0 and now hitting "Stop" no longer loads up Winamp. Is there a known way of making this happen again, or was this a product of that crazy Microsoft magic that makes things work for no reason at all?
