People who still 'cash' their paycheck: what is wrong with you???

beer

I walked down to 7/11 to get a Red Bull about 10 minutes ago. They have this little terminal that allows you to cash paychecks for a small fee. There was a rather long line at this terminal.

Why do people in 2005 still not use bank accounts?

more people do that than i expected and it always seems like the same "type" of people all the time.
I am not being predjudice, i just noticed that.
In response to your question, i have no clue.

I have the same rant but I'll add why don't people with bank accounts use direct deposit? Why do you still get an actual paycheck? What is wrong with you people??? :|

All the companies i've worked for since my first (porn shop), have directly deposited my paychecks into accounts.

There's always people like my father in law who don't trust banks. If he could've paid cash for his house he wouldn't of gotten a mortgage either. I don't want to guess at the amount, but he's got quite the stash under his mattress. (so I'm told)

Some people just don't like banks. And what's better than cash advance when you need to get hiiiiigh now.

I like to know exactly when I get my money, and decide where to put it. Besides, I go to the bank to pull lunch money out anyways. It's not like it adds much time.

wtf...

They are probably poor people who like to see cash. I rarely see cash. I buy most stuff with credit card or pay with checks.
