Is there anything wrong with the grammar? It looks fine to me but it would be very ackward to read since it's just a bunch of short statements.

My father is from Germany. I saw the figure on your website: Do you have a copy for sale? How much does it cost? I would like to buy it for Christmas or [sic] birthday.

Other than the missing possessive for birthday it seems to me that it just sounds ackward as opposed to being a little grammatically incorrect.

Fixed it for you.

And just to give myself credibility, I was born & raised in Germany and spend the first 19 years of my life there.

The grammar is very close to English. You wouldn't just say "I would want to buy it for birthday" in English. You would say "I would like to buy it for his/a birthday." I also missed that you placed your second sentence in present tense when it should be past, SuperjetMatt has already corrected that. Plus I agree that Bild is a better word to use, from what I can see Abilldung is associated with figures or a mathematical map. Crap, I missed a bunch after reading SuperjetMatt's post. I've gotten to the point where I am assuming more cognates than I should be doing. After a while I just end up replacing what I remember was the correct German word with some messed up English cognate. So yeah, you also misspelled "copy" in German and forgot to capitalize it since it is a noun, incorrectly ended the zu, etc. etc.

Just go with SuperjetMatt. Lord my German has gotten bad. I'm beginning to wonder how I survived during my trip in Bavaria.
