I had to work with someone today who smelled so bad, like he hadn't showered in a week.

Seriously people, you should be showering every day.

In high school there was a kid that smelled like a dumpster. Rotten cabbage, and dumpster funk. There's a medical condition that causes people to stink, but I think he was just dirty.
 
Another car rental story from your pal mmntech. When I first started working as a driver/cleaner, we had this old gentleman who came in semi-regularly. This man (white guy) stunk so bad, I can't even describe it. I've honestly never smelt anything like it before, but it was disgusting. Like he had never, ever showered once in his life. His odor was so potent, it would seep into the fabric and vents of the car. We couldn't rent it for at least a full day after he returned it. Just had to dump a ton of fabric refresher in it, then let it air out overnight.

I have never before or since encountered another human being that smelt that bad. Though I did work with this Indian lady that had such rank breath that the phone at work stunk days after she would go on vacation. She's still a distant second. She was such a nice lady though, we didn't have the heart to tell her.
 
Yeah, one of my best friends in college had a terrible body odor. He showered at least twice a day, washed clothes between wearing, everything he could think of.

Great guy, he just couldn't help it. 🙁
 
A guy I used to buy hay from was in his upper 90's. At the time, I'd guess he hadn't taken a shower in a couple of years. My wife - a nurse who specializes in wound care - open puss filled wounds that are necrotic, etc. - went in once to pay him for the hay. She refused to ever go in there again, because the smell was so bad. It was just a couple of months later that some human services department got involved. He was taken to the hospital where he had to be soaked to get his clothes off.
 
You need to tell them the truth. "your a stinky motherfucker that needs a daily bath".

I had a co worker that slammed the fuck out of the toilet seat every time he took a shit and it echoed down my hallway. I told him about it and now he's a quieter shitter.

I work for a RAC also and part of my salary is a car. I basically get to take a car from the fleet and drive it like my own for a few weeks. Anyway the smell in some of the cars is disgusting. Smoke, BO, Shit, Pot, Vomit, Alcohol etc uggg. It is by far the minority like one out of 200 but still...
 
One of the guys I shared a room with in the army had some seriously bad BO, and he refused to wear deodorant for some reason. Every day the rest of us would force him to put his used shirts in an airtight bag because otherwise the room would become uninhabitable. One day we ran out of bags and hung his clothes out the window until he came back with some fresh ones, one of our DIs barged in yelling about the clothes hanging out and how the place looked like a fucking gypsy camp. We told him to smell the tshirt and after doing so all he could do was scream "WHAT THE FUCK" and walk out of the room gagging.

I haven't come across such a foul smelling person again.
