People who make fake bomb threats should get automatic life in prison

I think they should impose a new law right now, anyone who makes fake bomb threats and are caught recieve life in prison or something to that nature...now is not the time for pranks. IM GOING TO BE SUPER PISSED IF I FIND OUT ONE OF THOSE BOMB THREATS LATELY LIKE IN CONGRESS WAS DONE BY SOME LITTLE 16 YEAR OLD TRYING TO BE FUNNY.

I agree 100%!! These fake bomb threats just hampre the rescue efforts!

I agree...these people need a harsh lesson as well....

of course, having a bomb-threat scene at the end of Road Trip doesn't help to discourage it either.......

I still think it should stand in place...i mean plan let him out in a couple of months but don't tell him that.
 
i agree...severe penalties should be imposed on those pranksters...bunch of lame mofos lookin for attention...

there was a bomb threat here in Salt Lake City, found a suspicious looking vehicle with no plates and a briefcase, which ended up being a bunch of carpentry tools...they traced the call to a public payphone...everyone's on edge...last couple of days i've been so spent mentally...🙁

 
There was a bomb threat in my city today. Reportedly someone called from a pay phone and said "City Hall boom boom boom" and hung up.

They evacuated the building and later found a package with some wires and batteries in it, but no explosive.

I'm convinced that any fvckup who would do something like that is MENTALLY DISTURBED.

I live in Ventura County in California. People have been calling in bomb threats all this week to different buildings. My sister had to evacuate her apartment building because of a bomb threat.
 
Life in prison for that is too harsh. But what would be fair is to have the person reimburse everyone involved who was affected. The cost of all the police/fire/rescue people who showed up, the salaries of every person who had to evacuate their place of business, the lost profits for each store that has to temporarily close, plus another $500 per person for the terror they went through for nothing. I'd think in most cases it would be in the multiple thousands of dollars.

That would be taking responsibility for their actions.
 

Oh man, somebody called a bomb threat to a local hospital yesterday; they had to evacuate the building! It was NOT fvcking funny, dumb ass punks!

I've had to evacuate our headquarters several times in Florida, HQ AFTAC, Highway A1A, Patrick AFB. Not fun.

Life in prison? Nah, just a quick bullet in the head.

They should be volunteered to be part of the bomb squad. If they defuse it, great, if it just goes off and blows thier ass up, what can you do? My mother works in the federal building here in Springfield, and they've had several bomb threats this week. If I ever found out who does that sh*t, I'd sodomize them with a fvckin chainsaw.
 
Mayor Giuliani has already sworn to make an example of anyone who is caught making a fake bomb threat in NYC (which had 92 of them just yesterday). Automatic life in prison is obviously abusrdly harsh, but giving them a year or two would not hurt my feelings.
