No, but why didn't you place it in the mail upon receiving payment?

I want to know who these people are that can leave work in the middle of the day, go home, pack up something, take it to the post office and ship it, then go back to work whenever they get around to it, all because someone paypaled them $26 for a used DIMM.

If you sell something on Ebay, you know when the auction's going to end. There's no reason for the thing to not be ready for an address label. If you didn't receive your money for 15 days, you'd be mad yourself. If you're too lazy to ship it after you've already been paid, you should contact him with an apology and that discount you were willing to offer, instead of just sitting back and seeing what he'll let you get away with.

Edit: Same day shipping isn't expected, but there's no excuse for it to take more than 2 or 3 days to leave your posession.

It's this real life thing I've been participating in, tends to get distracting at times. If your life priority is receiving your used George Clooney movie, I might suggest finding some hobbies.
Hey, watching used George Clooney movies IS my hobby! Turn on your user ratings so I can give you a 1!!! ;)

The squeaky buyer gets the grease. I wouldn't give a rat's arse if I didn't get paid for 15 days, unlike other people I realize most of these transactions are trivial in nature. Pay me when you've got the spare cycles, I'm patient.*

Amish is right, people are in such a freakin rush nowadays it's rediculous.

*Unless the thing you're bidding on is depreciating while you don't pay. ;)

Not all of that was me, much of it was the media mail option. If he needed some Clooney stat he should have picked "expedited shipping."

The guy that paid me $100 for the little mermaid DVD got it two days later. :)

yeah...media mail is the suX0r. I thought you didn't actually ship for 15 days... misread your thread.

whoa...i'm a rhymer now! You hear me, cow?

As long as I get it and it works, I usually don't gripe about the shipping time. I know that most lower-class mail services (UPS Group, USPS Media Mail, etc) can take 10-45 working days so I'm usually pretty slow to bemoan shipping time. If I wanted fast, I'd go to a B&M store and pay the extra premium.

Why did you leave him a neutral... Just for retaliation? Sounds like he held up to his end of the bargain very respectfully. Did he know it was shipping media mail? How much did he pay for shipping, and what was the product?

I normally ship right away but one time I procrastinated and the guy gave me a negative feedback the day I sent the package. Lesson learned. Ship your packages like NewEgg.com.

48 hours is ok to ship. Normally I ship mine within 24 hours, but sometimes emergencies come up. Unfortunately I cannot afford a dedicated shipping assistant :D

However, 15 days between payment and receipt is too much. If you are going to take that long you should specify it in your sale what shipping you use, because it is natural for people to expect 1-2 days max to package and 3-4 to arrive, at least I think so.

and I ALWAYS ship with delivery confirmation or tracking unless it's a coupon or gift certificate.

After sending the item I e-mail the buyer advising them their item was shipped today via courier service, tracking # is.

Maybe you don't mind waiting 15 days, but IMHO that's beyond the normal buyer's expectations. So I think a neutral was appropriate. A neutral isn't a neg, it just says "it was OK, nothing special." Your retaliatory neutral was childish and a prime example of why a lot of people don't want to leave appropriate feedback.

Did you get paid promptly? Then how do you justify a neutral? Only because you had your feelings hurt. Bah.

I'm lazy.

How did you get the other 3 negatives?

I was lazy then too. I am not amazon.com, have some patience. :D

My point is if you're unhappy let me know, I'll make it right. No need to go pooping on my report card.

if you plan selling on egay, you may not want to take 15 days to ship?
