I took the family to a new restaurant and my son ordered a mac & cheese cheeseburger. I hadn't heard of that. He said it was great. But, Fries on the side. So, i guess you can do it either way. I like a few onion rings on my burger once in awhile. Fries make it too dry, imo.

Fair point. I only saw the "I can't stand the dressing" comment. Not a Reuben without all of the accoutrements.

Not that there's anything wrong with a corned beef and Swiss or a pastrami and Swiss. They're delicious, they're just not a Reuben.

Cheddar has absolutely shit MQ (melting quality) I don't care how expensive of a brand it is either. A burger needs cheese that melts perfectly, and Cheddar cannot do that. If you don't like Amercan, which is the cheese you're suppose to put on a burger. At least use one that has a good MQ.

As for chips on a sandwich, I tried it on a hoagie after seeing Cliff on the Cosby Show do it, and it was fucking awesome. I'm convinced Cliff Huxtable's the king of hoagies.
