So every year you have to pay to renew your registration and get new tags. Supposedly this money goes to repair the public roadways and traffic law enforcement. How do you feel about the people who intentionly refuse to do this yet still drives?

i have never "intentionly refuse to do this yet still drive" , sometimes it is just such a hassle to get the inspection done, especially if there is some minor problem that will fail it on the inspection, then waiting until the end of the year doesn't seem so bad. that tax return money helps fix up the cars

it isn't like you get free months by waiting, they still make you pay for the entire year and they still expire at the same time, so it is just a delay thing

I pay every 2 years to renew. I see people all the time with expired tags. If I have to fvcking do it, you do motherfvcker.

I'm half tempted to run into them so that they get busted. Don't like it? Take the g-damn bus.

Something I noticed earlier this year:

In Arizona, you can request a temporary 3 day pass online. It costs $1 and you can print it out at home after filling out the form online.

My plates this year cost $400 in Arizona for my car. Now, if I chose to instead get a temp pass every three days, that would cost me $122 plus ink and paper for one year.

Hmm... So much anger. My tags are expired and the sticker is somewhere in my mail pile. Just to piss off you b1tches, I'm going to not put it on.

And don't say i'll get pulled over since the cop will run my plates to see if they're actually expired before pulling me over.

If they don't have the integrity or money to pay for new tabs, you can bet they don't have insurance either. This makes them a tremendous risk for everyone invovled

What if you move to a new state and get new plates but don't use them because you like your current plates better and they haven't expired yet??
Am I evil?

I don't mind them. They generate more revenue. Here in Kansas you're fined for late registration. It's a very small amount (like $2.00 or something), but you also generate additional revenue from the tickets they invariably get along the way as well. Hell, you should thank them more than anything!

Now, if they haven't done so in like 5 years, yeah, beat them in the streets with as much mercy as a shark on a bleeding seal.

I haven't renewed mine in sixth months. Of course, I'm not going to pay $40 in gas to drive back, $10 to get emissions tested, and then $124 bucks for registration. I'll just wait until I go back home.

BTW, that wasn't meant to sound like a cut. Just struck me as something more likely a female would do... keeping plates because of liking them better.

There are so many other stupid things that drivers do that expired tags don't even show up on the radar.
