They annoy me. How about you?

I've seen my mom do this. She'll double click links on a web page. It's really stupid... It could easily fuck up a transaction over the interwebs!

I always lol when people do that. Even before I was familiar with computers, I knew that you double click on icons, and click once on links, or buttons. Just seems like common sense.

One of the first things people learn (or should learn) when they first use a browser is that only single clicks are required for opening links.

I haven't seen anyone double click a link in a very long time.

How bout those people who proceed to write with whatever you give them without making sure the pen tip / graphite is actually out.

And then those same people don't double click on the stuff they need to do it for, like desktop icons. :p

I've tried to teach my grandparent's, but it's a difficult concept I guess...

When you leave the house, grow up, and learn to deal with shit, you will be a lot less angry over minor, inconsequential things.

Nothing is more annoying than people that put crunchy food (like sugar coated cereal) in their mouth and chew with their mouth still open!

The only exception is when chewing lifesaver candy (ie wintergreen) in the name of science to observe triboluminescent phenomenon.

I do that anytime I'm outside at night on camping/retreat trip...or I just happen to have Wint-O-Green Lifesavers at night. Delicious and educational :)

For some reason that just reminded me of how hilarious it is to give those exploding candy to a cat. :awe: Hours of fun for my cat when I tried it lol.

Hurl them at a white tile floor with the aid of a wrist rocket. The flash will surprise you! You could probably do this with an air gun by sitting one on top of the barrel. Just be sure to wear eye protection. It may be candy but it hurts like hell if it hits you at several hundred feet per second! ;)

Pop rocks or Stardust? That's wrong!

Google Adsense/Adwords does not count double clicks as two clicks. It does this to avoid click fraud and yes, noob internet users.

I'm not a noob. I am part of the group of companies that was at the forefront of the creation of IAB/MRC's click quality measurement guidelines and I'm still on the team at work that helps with the annual click quality audit.

I don't know when they stopped, but I know for sure almost everyone (including Google) used to charge for double clicks.
