So I'm hanging out at my friends' place next door, watching music videos.. one of their friends comes in and whatever. So she's a music industry major and asks what we think about the current state of music, etc..

Every time i tried to say something or make a point she takes over and KEEPS TALKING. She starts pulling so much random pointless editorial and flatulent BS out of her mouth I swear she swallowed a dung beetle. You'd think she was trying out for the debate team or giving a presentation in a music industry class. If I wanted to interject she just raised her voice and kept talking, and WOULD NOT STOP. I gave up and tried to watch Weezer's Keep Fishin' video and she talked through that too.

Goddamn I wanted to punch her in the face.

Thank god by the end she was too drunk from playing drinking games to make a coherent sentence.

No, no pics because she is fat.

She's a "music industry major"? Doesn't that mean she's an RIAA lackey-in-training? I didn't realize the music industry lobby's so strong it's able to get universities to offer degrees in how to rip off artists and exploit Congress to pass poorly-written legislation in order to protect a business model.

Yeah I was thinking that when she told me, but since I lacked the wit and tact at the time to say pretty much exactly what you just stated, I just rolled my eyes and grunted disapprovingly. :p

Sounds like my father telling the same old stories that everybody that knows him has heard at least a 100 times before. Of course when he's gone we'll miss hearing those stories...well we'll miss him:)

It was a long call.

I hate customers like that. You ask what the problem is and they want to go through the entire tech support history of the computer whether it is related or not.
